Decentralized Web Hackathon: Storage, Databases, and Apps

We invite everyone interested in building the next web. If you're an experienced apps developer – deploy your app in a trustless decentralized network and give it new capabilities with what we have in store. If you're just starting with the decentralized apps, come to get a feel of how it's like to create and run an app in decentralized environment in just a few hours.

Fluence (Moscow/Berlin/SF) is an efficient trustless computation platform that allows achieving a few seconds request processing latency and cost efficiency similar to traditional cloud computing. Fluence can be used as a general purpose backend engine for decentralized applications.

Arweave (London/Berlin) connects those with disk space to spare, with others that need dependable data storage. This system offers unparalleled levels of data replication and security for users, as well as financial incentives for participants in the network, all while cutting out the middleman. Arweave project is a graduate of the TechStars accelerator.

Awesome bounties are prepared for the best hacks!

We will start at IMAGURU at 10 AM with presentations from Fluence and Arweave. After lunch, we'll help hackers brainstorm ideas, gather into teams and continue with detailed workshops on each technology.

You are free to combine the technologies in your hack or choose only one for your two-days project.

On final judging, your projects are expected to be presented in English however you are free to use the Russian language throughout the hackathon. We will have lots of help to interpret, so no worries about that.
